Can I make a reservation? 

Chaia is a walk-in, counter-service restaurant and does not accept reservations for regular dining. Reservations are available only for our Georgetown or Chinatown communal tables, loft and private events. Visit our Private Events & Reservations page to learn more.

Can you accommodate food allergies?

Yes. Our kitchens are free of gluten, peanuts, tree nuts, and soy, making it easier to accommodate a variety of dietary needs. While many menu items can be made without dairy or eggs, we cannot guarantee there is no cross-contact with those ingredients.

Do you offer catering?

Yes. We offer individually packaged meals and family-style catering for groups of all sizes, available for pickup or delivery. Visit our Catering page to learn more. 

Is your menu vegetarian/vegan?

Our menu is built around seasonal vegetables, with plenty of vegetarian and vegan options, plus one thoughtfully chosen chicken taco. Many of our tacos can be made vegan upon request.

Can you tell me more about your tortillas?

Our tortillas are 100 percent gluten-free. We hand-griddle our corn tortillas daily using pure masa harina made by Masienda. It is made from dried corn (maize) that has been hulled -- the tough outer skin of the dried corn kernel has been removed -- and then ground up. Masa harina is free from cholesterol and trans-fats.

Are your ingredients organic and non-GMO?

Chaia is committed to using organic, seasonal, and locally-sourced ingredients as much as possible.  

How many calories are in your tacos?

Because our menu changes with the seasons, we don’t publish nutrition information for every taco. Most tacos range from approximately 160–340 calories, depending on the ingredients.

Tell me about your cookies? 

Our Cinnamon Coconut Cookies are gluten-free, nut-free and vegan. They are baked fresh in-house each day. The dough is sourced from Rise Bakery. 

Are your cheeses pasteurized?

Yes, all of our cheeses are pasteurized.
